We went to Kichijoji area two days in a row. The route is Mushashi Yamato - Hagiyama - Kokubunji - Kichijoji.

I fell in love with this Yuzawaya, eight floors of craft supplies and stuffs. Quirky buttons, fabrics, zippers, sewing machine, stuffed toys, and lots of crafty things. After spending too much time here, we went for a walk around the area, lots of little shops in Sun Road (we found a pair of Converse kids for Sidra) and around the way to the Inokashira Park (a pair of big big sunglasses for me). The area reminds me of little shops around Kuta, except that they are cleaner, the air cooler, and the people are much more polite.

The next day, we went to Kichijoji again, this time to take a look around the Inokashira park. The swanboat costs 700 yen for 30 minutes, which resulted in my tired legs because, of course, Sidra didn't help at all in pedaling. There's also a small zoo. Small in the number of animals, but not in the size of place. It costs 400 yen for me, and free for Sidra.

Sidra gets a lot of discounts and free entrance in lots of places (and free gifts!), and he also doesn't have to pay for his trains. An all-you-can-eat meal for Sidra in Shakey's costs only 400 yen, and he can eat a bowl of sweet corn, 4 big slices of pizza, and sometimes some potatoes. He loves eating here, from onigiri, crocquette, to Indian curry. Oh, what have Japan done to my picky-eater babyboy?
